Trump enjoys royal banquet hours after thousands of protesters call him a ‘clown’

Donald Trump dined on quail eggs, chicken ballotine and Victoria plums in a banquet hall rammed with royals and officials this evening.
He and the first lady, Melania Trump, attended a feast hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla in Windsor. During a speech, Trump praised the monarch for being able to remember ‘bad names, like “XYZ-Q3″‘.
It’s a scene that feels a world away – or 20 miles away, to be exact – from the anti-Trump protests in London today.
Metro news reporter Sarah Hooper, who was covering the demo today, said: ‘At one point, a single counterprotester began jeering at the crowd. But demonstrators laughed as they walked past him.’
The rally has since ended, with 5,000 people having poured into London holding placards calling the president, among other things, a ‘c**t’, ‘nonce’, ‘Fascist’ and a ‘dick-tator’.
