Five people stabbed at late-night party in London are all arrested


Five people who were taken to hospital after they were stabbed at a music event in south east London have all been arrested.
Emergency services were called to Nathan Way, Thamesmead, at 4.19am today after five people were stabbed.
Five people were taken to hospital, with three not sustaining life-threatening injuries and two others being assessed.
All of those in hospital, aged 22, 24, 24, 31 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Detective Inspector Steven Andrews said: ‘Officers responded quickly to provide medical assistance to the five injured people alongside the London Ambulance Service and ensure the safety of around 300 people, who were at this music event.
‘Those who have been injured have been arrested for violent disorder and we continue to work to establish any wider involvement.
‘We encourage anyone with any information to contact police to assist with enquiries.’


The London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 4.17am on Saturday 16 May to reports of a stabbing in Nathan Way, SE28.
‘We sent resources including ambulance crews, paramedics in response cars, an incident response officer, advanced paramedics and London’s air ambulance.
‘We treated three patients at the scene before taking them to hospital.’
Latest London news
It is understood two others were taken to hospital by third parties.
